The Spark
A beloved stuffed snow owl became part of our family’s daily life. Years later, that owl would inspire the name Owlgo and the vision behind helping children learn mathematics through meaningful play.
Math Games at Home
Simple family math games helped our children understand difficult concepts. Skip counting, place value, estimation, and number sense became hands-on adventures instead of worksheets.
The Idea Takes Shape
As friends and classmates enjoyed these activities, a question emerged: What if more children could learn math through games?
March 2026 — Owlgo LLC
Owlgo LLC was officially incorporated in Massachusetts, turning a family idea into a mission-driven company.
April 2026 — First Games
The first Place Value missions were launched. Students tested the games and helped shape the learning experience through feedback.
Spring 2026 — Library Outreach
Owlgo Math began reaching families through local libraries across the Greater Boston area.
May 2026 — Owlgo Stickers
With support from the Waltham Public Library, Owlgo stickers were created and shared with students who were excited about learning math through games.
June 2026 — Community Launch
The Waltham Boys & Girls Club welcomed Owlgo Math as a community vendor, allowing us to introduce our mission to even more families.
